Frequently asked questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are FAA Part 107 certified and carry insurance, with a Certificate of Insurance provided on request.
Are you locally owned?
Yes. Aervance Precision is locally owned and operated in Dallas-Fort Worth. When you call, you reach the people doing the work, not a national call center.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Dallas-Fort Worth and serve the metroplex and North Texas. For larger projects we travel across Texas and the South Central US, with travel quoted up front. We also take on bilingual and cross-border work tied to Costa Rica.
Do you publish prices?
Every site is different, so we quote per project. Send us the scope and you will get a fixed quote, usually within one business day. Flight-only data capture is quoted by the half day or full day.
How fast do you deliver?
It depends on the deliverable. Simpler photo and inspection sets are often ready within 24 hours, while larger maps, 3D models, and edited video take longer. We confirm the exact timeline with your quote.
What formats do you deliver?
GeoTIFF orthomosaics and DSM, LAS point clouds, OBJ 3D models, DXF/SHP contours, and standard photo and video. We process in DJI Terra and deliver files ready for AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Procore, and GIS.
How accurate is your mapping data?
With RTK we deliver 2 to 5 cm accuracy, enough for most commercial construction needs.
Are you a licensed surveyor or engineer?
No. We provide drone data, imagery, and documentation, not licensed surveying or engineering services. When a project needs sign-off from a licensed professional, we are glad to work alongside yours.
Can you fly near DFW airports?
Yes. We are Part 107 certified and handle LAANC authorization for controlled airspace near DFW International, Love Field, and other towered airports.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes. We provide full service in English and Spanish.
